LZF Lamps is on route to Frankfurt Light + Building 2016 with an all new lighting display
For this years fair, Marivi Calvo envisioned a new looking display. One which, although light in appearance, would be architectural, providing autonomous spaces where lamps can be displayed individually as in the home environment.
An important aspect of the booth is contentedness and reliability. Viewers must relate the individual spaces and the lamps within them to practical environments. The trick is to do this while not losing the interconnectedness between the various spaces within the booth.
To achieve this, Marivi enlisted the help of Ania and Maciej from Chmara.Rosinke, two designers based in Vienna, who having earlier designed the LZF exhibiting trolly, were ideal candidates in helping put the stand together.
Assisting their effort was long time LZF designer and friend Burkhard Däemmer, whose new Dandelion and Cervantes pendants feature in the finished stand. He, along side Marivi and Chmara.Rosinke coordinated the construction effort in the LZF production hall ensuring its precise assembly.
Light + Building also introduces the public to , LZF´s new Telling Tales photo campaign for 2016. Inspired by the work of painter Edward Hopper and Hitchcock’s classic film ‘Rear Window’, the campaign contributes to the stands retro look through the use of colours, cinematic light and shadow.
Housed within the booth will be a selection of LZF´s latest lamps as well as fixtures to recently win IF and Good Design Awards. Of particular interest, the Dandelion pendant by Burkhard Dammer, the New Wave pendant lamp by Ray Power and the new and never before seen Swirl pendant lamp by Ray Power.
The Frankfurt Light + Building 2016 runs from the 13th -18th March, where you will be able to locate LZF in Hall 1.1, C10. So please come by or organize an appointment by emailing us here.
