LZF’s Black Note Keys, Black Note Triplet, and Mini Chou are in residence at Teoina, a modern sunny villa designed by Valencia-based Chiralt Arquitectos. Located in Rocafort, Valencia, Teoina sits on a manicured plot, surrounded by pine trees and lush Mediterranean vegetation. The villa’s geometric facade juxtaposes two very different materials: a dry stone wall, typical of vernacular architecture, invites a comparison with the bark of the property’s pine trees, while two clean, white stone volumes encircle the house at its midpoint and roof. With windows framed in black and a contemporary black four-cylinder ‘lattice’ at one end of the covered terrace, Teoina is striking in its appearance.
Teoina’s interior draws the outside in, with expansive windows and an abundance of natural light. By incorporating rustic stone walls in several areas of the home, including the open-plan living–dining–kitchen and the primary bedroom, Chiralt Arquitectos have added an appealing traditional element to this modern dwelling. Decorated in a neutral palette, Teoina enjoys a sense of tranquility, with quiet spaces throughout in which to relax and unwind. The use of natural materials, such as stone, wood, and textiles, enhance the depth of repose and comfort.
Complementing Teoina’s interior, LZF’s natural wood lighting is both elegant and unassuming. A Black Note Keys pendant, finished in a black metallic frame with warm white veneer shades, hangs gracefully above the dining table.
With the same black metallic frame and white veneer shade finish, a Black Note Triplet floor lamp illuminates the corner of a lounge area. Both the Black Note Keys and Black Note Triplet were designed by the celebrated Spanish architect Ramón Esteve.
In the primary bedroom, two white veneer Mini Chous act as bedside lamps. The winsome Mini Chou was designed by Yonoh, a Valencia-based creative studio.
The inclusion of LZF’s lamps within Teoina’s interior scheme adds to the overall charm of this inviting modern residence.
