LZF´s wooden lamps suspended in new law office, Valencia.
When was the last time we needed a good lawyer? That’s privileged company information; suffice to say we have an attorney called Pablo on permanent speed dial.
Lawyers are who you call when you need to get out of the kind of situation that could see you sharing a cell with hairy men who adore tattoos and insist on calling you Brenda.
Matter of fact the last lawyer we called was JJL Abogados. Thankfully we weren’t in any sort of trouble that required an expensive suit with a gift of the gab. This lawyer was actually a client of ours (not the other way around) who had the good taste to specify two of LZF’s gorgeous wooden pendant lights for their renovated office on the Calle Marqués de Sotelo in Valencia.
The wooden lamps in question are our beautiful CUAD suspension lamps by the unapologetically Teutonic Burkhard Dammer. The CUADs – finished in a stunning yellow – hover over the conference room table where all the big important decisions are made. We kinda like the idea of that.
Cota Cero Interiorismo were the architects for the project and we reckon they have created something that is more than worthy of the criminal justice system. The renovation job encompassed two floors and included boardrooms, offices, staff common areas and bathrooms. The classic mosaic floor and wooden doors have been left untouched as well as the high ornate ceilings.
“It is these elements that give character to the space, while combining ancient and traditional elements with contemporary furniture and lighting,” the architects said.
We think Dammer’s geometrically precise CUAD adds just the right amount of gravitas to a boardroom environment, while also providing the necessary illumination for late nights working an important case.
Take a look at the images below and tell us if you don’t think we’ve got a rock solid case for believing these are the sexiest law offices in the world.
