LZF Spiro pendant Lamp in the New Relic Lounge
We are proud that an LZF pendant lamp has been chosen to be part of a new interior scheme for Next Relic; a San Francisco-based software analytics company.
The team from Quezada Architects were enlisted for the project. Founded in San Francisco at a time when Whitney Houston was wailing I Will Always Love You, Quezada has been designing award-winning projects for clients ever since. With a focus on design excellence and sustainability, it was a no-brainer that Next Relic should call on Quezada to work its magic.
When looking to choose an appropriate palette of materials, textures and colours, Quezada looked towards the name Next Relic and considered all that it invoked – the juxtaposition of old and new, modern and decayed. Using reclaimed old growth elm, the wood is mingled amongst flamed steel walls, perforated metal panels and colourful furniture to create a warm, lively, and inviting work place.
Our friends from Archetype Lighting showed impeccable taste specifying a glorious Spiro pendant lamp for this project, where it hangs beautifully over the impressive Next Relic’s table in the very funky lounge area.
The Spiro is a handmade timber veneer pendant lamp designed by Valencian Remedios Simon and inspired by 1960s Op-Art. One of LZF’s most loved lamps; it makes a strong statement in any space it appears. We reckon it looks pretty damn fabulous hanging above Next Relic’s reclaimed timber slab coffee table and adjacent to the flamed steel hearth.
